The most unusual situation I've encountered as a pharmacist: After
inquiring about the location of the KY jelly, I was shocked to find a
customer carrying every single tube from the shelf to the counter. She was
watching my face closely for a reaction, so I put on my best impassive
expression and proceeded to ring up the purchase. I must have done a poor
job however, because after a moment she started to laugh. As I glanced
up,
she said,"You must be wondering what I could possibly be doing with so
much
lubricant." I admitted that I was, and she proceeded to inform me that
she
was a vet, and was planning to help a mare with her first birth that
night.
Of all the scenarios I had imagined--that just wasn't one of them!!
